A message from us at Seumus' Irish Bar ☘️
After many unforgettable years of memories, music, and pints poured with love – we've made the incredibly tough decision to put Seumus' Irish Bar on the market.
This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly. Seumus’ has been more than just a bar – it’s been a home, a community hub, and a place where so many friendships have been born. But with our children growing up fast and time with them becoming more precious by the day, it feels like the right moment to shift gears and hand over the reins (or in this case, Guinness tap).
We wanted to give our valued customers and followers the heads-up before the official sales listing goes live – that will be coming soon. In the meantime, if anyone would like to enquire or have a chat, feel free to reach out (contact details are below).. No need to stress – this won’t happen overnight, and we’re committed to ensuring that Seumus’ is passed on to the right person or people who share our passion for what this special place means.

Seumus’ Irish Bar wins BIG at Irish Hospitality Global awards in Dublin
After a lengthy search, including a publically nominated shortlist and a rigorous judging process, the world’s best Irish pubs were announced at the glitzy Irish Hospitality Global awards night on Tuesday 7th October at Mansion House, Dublin.
It was a triumphant night for Seumus’ Irish Bar, Picton winning ‘Best Irish Community Pub’, and ‘Irish Pub of the Year’ awards in the Asia, Africa, Middle East and Pacific region, along with being named the Overall Global Winners for ‘Best Irish Community Pub’ in the prestigious Irish Hospitality awards.
Owner Vanessa Evans was absolutely delighted with the recognition and praised the efforts of the wider Seumus’ team. ‘It’s always been a special place, the warmth, atmosphere, and charm of Seumus’ is second to none. It’s a home away from home for many who visit, and it’s fantastic to be awarded up there with the best of the best. We are extremely proud of this global recognition and are excited to share this achievement with our wider Picton community”.
